Covid19 Curriculum Statement
The school maintained high level engagement with pupils and parents throughout the pandemic and continues to do so. The staff delivered positive, interactive learning experiences for all children and became very aware of the impact of the isolation of home learning has effected families in different ways.
On returning in September the staff and governors agreed that the main learning areas impacted by Covid19 are literacy, numeracy and wellbeing. Once the focus was agreed the staff have used catch up funding to support individual children through bought in interventions (including CPD and increasing adult support within the classroom. This has ensured that the support staff are utilised better and enabled to provide high quality support to all children.
The school leaders have identified areas for development and action plans written. Curriculum action plans are monitored by the Curriculum Committee and then feedback is given to the full governing body each term.
