Australia Day

We have had an exciting day, we all did some cooking this morning the infants made vegetable kebabs, Mr Wilkinson's class made beef burgers and Miss T's group made damper (Australian bread), we made boomerangs and solar ovens with Mr Wilkinson and did a variety of art activities with Miss T. This afternoon we enjoyed our Australian BBQ and a visit from crocodiles of the world where we met and handled Sultana the tortoise, Bertha the monitor lizard, Kevin the snake and Ricky the alligator and learnt lots about each animal and Australia. Well done for some amazing costumes today! Miss Wadsworth
